The Greater Baltimore Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame will conduct its 32nd annual Scholar Athlete Awards Dinner, honoring area football scholars, at 6 o'clock tonight at Martin's West.
Every football-playing high school in Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Harford, Howard, Carroll and Frederick counties and Baltimore City is eligible to nominate a scholar-athlete.
One athlete is selected as the grand-prize winner ($4,000) with four others chosen as regional winners ($1,500 scholarships). Winners are chosen by the chapter's selection committee.
