Outlook: Third-seeded Navy (10-4 Patriot) topped Lehigh, 69-58, one week ago in the Patriot League regular-season finale for both teams. The Midshipmen have won 10 of 11. Michael Heary scored 22 points -- including five three-pointers. Sixth-seeded Lehigh (5-9), which has lost six of its past seven, is led by Rashawne Glenn (17.8 ppg).

Outlook: The seventh-seeded Greyhounds are the defending champions. Last year, they upset regular-season champion Canisius in the semifinals. In senior F Craig Wise (16.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg), second-seeded Canisius has the MAAC Player of the Year. The Griffs have won at Penn, Cincinnati, UNC-Charlotte and Manhattan, which is the No. 1 seed in the MAAC. Loyola, which has won three of its past five, is led by second-team All-MAAC senior F B. J. Pendleton (14.3 ppg, 6.6 rpg).

Outlook: In their first postseason game, the Gophers ousted defending national titlist Lebanon Valley, 102-91, with 63.6 percent shooting. Wilkes eliminated Widener, 70-60. Goucher got 31 points from David Clark (Catonsville) and 25 from Gerard Garlic (Catonsville), who took All-American Mike Rhoades out of the game with his defensive play. Wilkes, third seeded in the region, averages 86.5 points and surpassed 100 points a school-record seven times. The offense is paced by F Matt LaBuda (17.7 ppg), C Jason Turner (Owings Mills, 16.4 ppg, 8.7 rpg) and G Chris Parker (16.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg).

Outlook: The Blue Jays avenged two losses to Ursinus with Wednesday's 77-67 win in a first-round game. Hopkins picked up its school-record 21st win in its first tournament appearance. Montclair State upset Elizabethtown, 77-68, in its first-round contest. Senior G Amy Dodrill (15.0 ppg) scored 20 to lead the Blue Jays, and freshman G Angie Arnold (14.3 ppg) added 18. Hopkins played nearly the entire second half without senior F and captain Karen Hoffman (12.9 ppg), who went down with an ankle injury and is questionable for tonight's game.
