A large house suitable for the 1995 Decorator Show House is needed by Historic Ellicott City Inc., preferably old, historic and with a good structure.
The home should have at least 14 areas, including halls and bathrooms, for interior designers to work their craft.
Good accessibility and parking for 75 are also desirable.
A show house is decorated at no expense to the owner. Rooms are painted and furnished, and window treatments and artwork are created and installed -- all at the expense of the decorators.
When the show is over, owners have the opportunity to purchase everything at decorator cost.
The Show House runs from Sept. 23 to Oct. 22. The owners must vacate the home by July 15 to allow time for the designers to paint or wallpaper the premises.
The mission of Historic Ellicott City Inc. is to preserve the heritage of Ellicott City and Howard County at large. Information: Mary Zeigler at 465-2915 or Virginia Kinney at 796-4323.
