* Westminster: A resident of Pennsylvania Avenue reported to city police that someone damaged the driver's side rear quarter panel of her auto while it was parked near her home Sunday. She estimated the damage at $300.
A Charles Street resident told city police that someone broke the side window of his truck while it was parked near his home Saturday. He estimated the damage at $200.
A Green Street resident told city police that someone shot a BB pellet through her front window Saturday. She estimated the damage at $40.
An official of Chesapeake Aluminum Co. of Baltimore reported that someone stole equipment Friday from a construction site on Golden Eagle Court. The loss was estimated at $4,235.
A Chase Street resident told city police her 1988 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen Friday while it was parked near her home. It was valued at $2,000.
Another Chase Street resident reported that someone damaged his auto in an apparent attempt to steal it Friday. He estimated the damage at $500.
A Hanover, Pa., resident told city police that someone shattered a side window of his auto Friday while it was parked on the Sherwood lot. He estimated the damage at $100.
A Liberty Street resident told city police that someone broke a side window of his auto while it was parked near his home Thursday. He estimated the damage at $420.
FIRE
* Finksburg: Gamber, Reese and Reisterstown and Glyndon of Baltimore County were dispatched to investigate the report of smoke in the Rite-Aid Pharmacy in the shopping center at Routes 140 and 91 at 1:20 p.m. yesterday. Units were out an hour.
Reese and Gamber responded to a house fire on Cedarhurst Drive at 8:25 p.m. Saturday. Units were out 20 minutes.
Reese: Reese and Westminster firefighters were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 1600 block of Walter Avenue at 8:36 p.m. Sunday. Units were out 30 minutes.
Silver Run: Pleasant Valley and Littlestown, Pa., firefighters investigated a report of a malfunctioning furnace in a house in the 3800 block of Littlestown Pike at 4:50 a.m. Saturday. Units were out 30 minutes.
