Business association to hold elections for offices tomorrow

The Hampstead Business Association will hold elections for offices at 7 p.m. tomorrow at a meeting at Dean's Restaurant.

The nominees are: president, Todd Winebrenner, Carroll Chiropractic; vice president, Levere Grimes, Black and Decker; secretary, Sandy Yospa, Family Pharmacy of Hampstead; treasurer, Kathy Rampolla, J & K Graphic Design Co.

Board members nominated: Bob Chessler, Sleep Hollow Herbs and Gifts; Bart Stevens, True Value of Hampstead; Ron Kirby, Charleston Furniture; John Martindale, Brothers Roofing; Kevin Schlender, Brothers Roofing; Frank Kosmakos, Maria's.

Chris Cavey of Cavey Insurance was nominated to the White House Council as a small business representative.

FIRE

* Lineboro: Lineboro responded to help York County investigate a fire alarm sounding in a building on Sinsheim Road at 8:17 a.m. yesterday. Units were out for one hour.

Lineboro responded to an electrical fire in a building in the 19000 block of Grave Run Road in Baltimore County at 6:34 a.m. yesterday. Units were out for 30 minutes.

* Manchester: Manchester, Lineboro and Hampstead firefighters were dispatched to a chimney fire on Janet Court at 5:05 p.m. Saturday. Units were out for 40 minutes.
