POLICE
* Westminster: An official of the Carroll County Times reported that someone vandalized a company truck while it was parked on the newspaper's Railroad Avenue lot Wednesday. Police were told that the windshield and passenger's window were broken and the --board was damaged. The damage was estimated at $600.
A resident of Creswell Terrace told police someone broke the rear window of her van while it was parked at Carroll County Library on East Main Street Tuesday. The damage was estimated at $350.
An employee of Traynor's Floors on Airport Drive reported that someone broke the driver's window in a company van while it was parked at the office Monday. The damage was estimated at $350.
FIRE
* Deer Park: Reese and Gamber engines were dispatched to a dryer fire in a house in the 2200 block of Sykesville Road at 2:18 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 30 minutes.
* Westminster: Westminster engines responded to investigate the report of a fire alarm sounding in a building on Liberty Street at 7:08 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 20 minutes.
Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester engines were dispatched to investigate the report of smoke in a building on East Main Street at 6:39 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 25 minutes.
