An armed masked man fled with cash after robbing a North Laurel gas station and convenience store Friday, Howard County police said.
According to the victim, the robber entered the Crown station in the 9200 block of All Saints Road at 12:45 p.m., showed a gun and demanded money. After the cashier complied, the robber took the cash and ran from the store, police said.
No one was injured, police said.

Hospital foundation gets new board member
Cortez White, general manager of the Washington Suburban Sanitation Commission, has been elected to the board of directors of Laurel Regional Hospital's foundation and institutional boards.
The hospital, a not-for-profit member of Dimensions Healthcare System, serves communities in Howard, Prince George's, Anne Arundel and Montgomery counties.
During his 19 years at Washington Suburban Sanitation Commission, Mr. White held several posts before becoming general manager. He also served as a management consultant with two other firms in the Washington metropolitan area.
Mr. White also has held management postions with the Buick Motor Division of General Motors Corp. in Flint, Mich., and the Aerospace Division of Boeing Co. in Seattle.
