ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman was bitten by his intended victim and fled with no money in a robbery attempt Saturday night in the 2200 block of McCulloh St. The victim, instead of complying with a demand for money, grabbed the gunman's arm and bit his hand, police said.
BURGLARY: Central District -- Burglars stole 120 feet of copper wire and a 20-foot copper pipe from a vacant home in the 1200 block of Druid Hill Ave. between 6 p.m. Friday and 7:15 a.m. Saturday.
STOLEN AUTO: Central District -- A 1986 blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Maryland tags PFN 213 was stolen between 3 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday from the 1400 block of Mason St.
LARCENY FROM AUTO: Central District -- A black purse containing $45 and a gold necklace was stolen from a 1994 Plymouth parked in the 600 block of W. Lexington St. between 1:10 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. yesterday.
ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- A man was robbed of $90 by a gunman in the 800 block of Cathedral St. at 2 a.m. Saturday.
STOLEN AUTO: Central District -- A gray 1986 Honda Accord with Maryland tags YLS 317, parked in the 300 block of E. Chase St., was stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
LARCENY FROM AUTO: Central District -- Two wool coats were stolen from a 1990 Cadillac Limousine parked in the 400 block of Cathedral St. at 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
STOLEN AUTO: Central District -- A blue Dodge Spirit with Maryland tags BVL 257 was stolen Saturday night from the first block of W. Lafayette Ave.

VANDALISM: North Point Precinct -- Six tires on five cars parked in five Edgemere locations were slashed between 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. yesterday along Sparrows Point Road, Grace Road and River Drive Road.
SHOPLIFTING: North Point Precinct -- A man was stopped yesterday afternoon while walking in the Eastpoint Mall, carrying a VCR taken from the Ames store there. The VCR was confiscated and the man released pending investigation.
