Terps breeze by Villanova, 15-6

VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Senior midfielder Kip Fulks scored four goals to lead Maryland to a 15-6 victory over Villanova yesterday.

The Terps have won 11 of their past 12 season openers.

With the Terps leading 7-4 in the second quarter, Fulks scored two goals in an 8-0 run that spanned 22:59. Senior attackman Rob Chomo added two goals and one assist.

Villanova (0-1) was led by Mark Nagle, who scored two goals. Maryland junior goalkeeper Brian Dougherty made seven saves.
