Copper Ridge, a facility in Sykesville dedicated to the treatment of patients with Alzheimer's disease and other memory-impairing disorders, recently was named in three industry awards.
Just opened in July, the facility was selected as outstanding project in the $10 million category by the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc., to be presented to Henry H. Lewis, general contractor for Copper Ridge.
The National Association of Home Builders honored Copper Ridge and its contractor, Perkins Eastman Architects PC, with a Best of Senior Housing Award, recognizing quality craftsmanship and outstanding projects.
The facility also won an honorable mention from DuPont Antron in that company's professional category for quality installation.
