A Glen Burnie woman has been charged with trying to steal $11 worth of makeup from a Brooklyn Park Rite Aid store Tuesday afternoon, county police said.
A security officer at the store in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway saw a woman hide the makeup shortly before 4:30 p.m. When the woman tried to leave with the merchandise, the security officer stopped her and held her until police arrived.
Agnes Catherine Bellamy, 23, of the 400 block of Hidden Brook Drive, was charged with misdemeanor theft, police said.
