POLICE
* Westminster: An official of Carroll Transit on North Center Street reported that someone shattered a window on a vehicle Tuesday and stole a two-way radio. The total loss was estimated at $800.
A Charles Street resident told police someone damaged the door knob of her house in an apparent attempt to gain entry Monday.
Another Charles Street resident reported that someone stole a Huffy mountain bike from his property Monday.
A resident of Kelly's Court told police someone stole her wallet Saturday while she was at Tully's Restaurant in Cranberry Mall. She estimated the loss at $75.
A Westminster High School student told state police someone forced the rear sliding window of his pickup truck and stole 18 compact discs while the vehicle was parked on Lot E at the school Tuesday. He estimated the loss at $270.
State police reported that a resident of Coon Club Road told them someone forced open the convertible top of his 1989 Suzuki, stole a Sony stereo system and damaged the console and ignition Monday. He estimated the loss at $690.
A resident of Opal Avenue reported that someone broke into his auto Monday and stole a radar detector. He estimated the loss at $250.

* Pleasant Valley: Pleasant Valley firefighters responded to a woods fire in the 700 block of Cherrytown Road at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday. They were out one hour.
* Westminster: Westminster firefighters were dispatched to a trash container fire in the 100 block of Airport Drive at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday. They were out 30 minutes.
