Taylor to address business partnership
Maryland House Speaker Casper R. Taylor Jr. will speak to the BWI Business Partnership at 7:45 a.m. March 3 at Sheraton/BWI Airport, 7032 Elm Road.
Mr. Taylor is expected to discus economic development and transportation issues before the state legislature. Admission is $15, or free to partnership members. Information: 859-1000.
Glendening to address Chamber of Commerce
Gov. Parris N. Glendening will be the featured speaker at the Howard County Chamber of Commerce's general membership meeting at noon March 16 at Columbia Inn, 10207 Wincopin Circle.
Advance tickets are $30 for the public and $25 for chamber members. Five dollars will be charged if tickets are purchased at the door. Registration the day of the event will begin at 11:30 a.m.
