BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone used a tool to break into a window of a home in the 3000 block of Stafford Street between 6 p.m. Feb. 12 and noon Monday. The burglar took fixtures worth $900.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- The door to a construction trailer in the 3600 block of Wilkens Ave. was pried open between late Sunday and early Monday. Tools valued at $6,125 were removed.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a home in the 1000 block of Kevin Road through the basement window between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday and took stereo equipment worth $5,075.
ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A man was in the 1800 block of E. 28th Street when he was approached by a man with a handgun at 1:30 p.m. yesterday. The gunman took $25 in cash along with other valuables.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A burglar pried open a door to the Claremont School, in the 5300 block of Erdman Ave. between 4 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. yesterday, and stole a Magnavox television set, a videotape recorder and an overhead projector. The total value of the loss was $1,095.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone broke into the Mirrors Hair Salon, in the 2500 block of Harford Road, between 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. yesterday and removed two IBM computers, two computer printers, four telephones, various jewelry and a 22-inch television set. The value of the loss was $2,800. Police said the thief used a trash can to break the front door of the establishment.
