POLICE

* Westminster: A Wicomico County resident reported that someone broke the driver's side window of his vehicle and stole property while it was parked at Cranberry Mall Sunday.

Three boys ranging in age from 12 to 14 years were arrested Saturday and charged with two counts each of breaking and entering, theft and malicious destruction of property and one count each of conspiracy. A 10-year-old also was charged with two counts of breaking and entering and one count each of theft and conspiracy. All were released to their parents pending Juvenile Court proceedings. Police said boys broke into a vacant house on Westminster Avenue and took tools and other small items.

A Pennsylvania Avenue resident reported that someone broke a window of her house Friday.

An employee of Western Maryland College told police someone stole $334 from one of the campus offices Feb. 15.

A resident of Goldenrod Terrace told police her purse containing $23 was stolen in a robbery Feb. 14 while she was walking on East Main Street.

FIRE

* Westminster: Firefighters from Westminster and Reese responded to a house fire in the 300 block of Warfieldsburg Road at 6:02 p.m. Monday. Units were out 32 minutes.
