3 men arrested, charged with cocaine possession

Two Glen Burnie men and a Severn man were arrested on drug charges Monday afternoon as county narcotics detectives ended a two-week investigation, county police said.

Detectives arrested two of the men after stopping a 1985 Toyota truck at Covington Road near Parke West Drive about 4 p.m., police said. During a search, officers found a small amount of suspected crack cocaine worth $1,400 and a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Larry Shields III, 21, of the 7800 block of Parke West Drive in Glen Burnie and Ricky Alphonso Graves, 19, of the 8000 block of Old vTC Mill Court in Severn were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Mr. Graves was also charged with possession of marijuana, police said.

A short time later, police arrested a third man at his apartment in Glen Burnie. Police said they seized $2,250, a 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit and 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine found in the car.

Dwayne Leonard Jones, 20, of the 400 block of Pamela Road in Glen Burnie was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
