THEFT: Central District -- A woman reported to police that she was eating dinner at Fuddruckers, 125 Market Place, between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday when someone took a wallet from a purse that was sitting next to her. The purse contained personal papers.
ARREST: Central District -- A man was arrested and charged with burglary after he was found inside the vacant Fishmarket, at 35 Market Place, in downtown Baltimore. Police say the man pushed his way into the building through a boarded window in the rear.
THEFT: Central District -- Someone stole a brass light fixture with eight light bulbs from an office building at 11 E. Lexington St. between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday.
THEFT: Central District -- Someone unzipped the rear window of a Suzuki vehicle and entered, stealing a brief case, a laptop computer, a Gameboy system with video games and a cellular telephone.
THEFT: Northern District -- A woman is being sought on a charge of taking a purse with $100 cash, a Maryland driver's license, a checkbook and keys from a woman in an
office at 201 E. University Parkway between 11:15 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. Monday.
BURGLARY: Southern District -- At 3101 Cherryland Road, someone saw a suspect, reportedly a black male in his late teens, get in a front window and take a microwave oven, television and two videocassette recorders.
BURGLARY: Southern District -- Police are seeking a warrant to arrest a man for a break-in at a storehouse in the 900 block of Ryan Street, where 20 pieces of 2x4 boards were stolen at 6:45 p.m. Monday.
BURGLARY: Southern District -- Police received a report Monday that two men and a woman broke into a home in the 400 block of E. Patapsco Ave. through a second-floor window between 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday and stole two rifles.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- Sidney Joyner, 22, of the 5100 block of Midwood Ave. in North Baltimore, sustained a superficial wound to the left leg when he was shot while in the 1100 block of Leadenhall St. He was taken to the Shock Trauma Center and released.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into the rear door of a home in the 3500 block of Alameda Circle at about 1 p.m. Monday and took a VCR valued at $200 and an Omega watch valued at $250.
