ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men approached a woman in the 3100 block of Granada Ave. about 3:45 p.m. yesterday. One pointed a large-caliber handgun at her, and they demanded money. The woman gave them jewelry and other personal property, valued at $464.
ABDUCTION: Northwestern District -- A woman was at a pay phone in the 3900 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about 2:30 a.m. yesterday when she was approached by a man driving a white van. The man asked the woman whether she wanted to have fun, and the woman rejected the offer, police said. The man got out of his van, pointed a handgun in the woman's face and took her into the vehicle. He drove to Maine and Oakfield avenues, parked the car and ordered her to take off her clothes. She refused. The man took her coat, threw her out of the car and drove away.
RAPE: Northeastern District -- A man entered a 21-year-old woman's apartment on Bowleys Lane about 4 a.m. yesterday. He placed a sharp object at her neck, ordered her to lie on her stomach and raped her.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A television set, a VCR and clothing, valued at $880, were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of 30th St. between 9:30 a.m. and noon yesterday.
HARFORD COUNTY
RAPE: Benson State Police Barracks -- John R. Crilley, 27, of Joppa is being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center after being charged Saturday with rape, false imprisonment and battery at a Joppa residence. The victim was treated and released at Fallston General Hospital.
ROBBERY: Benson State Police Barracks -- An unidentified man robbed a Dunkin' Donuts store in the 2000 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood Sunday. The man displayed a handgun and fled the restaurant with $297. He was described by witnesses as a white male with short, light brown hair, in his mid-30s, weighing about 150 pounds and wearing dark pants and a flannel jacket with a hood. Anyone with information should call (410) 879-2101.
