Allen won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 backstroke in the male-dominated MPSSAA District 9 Coed Championships. The sophomore, despite competing mostly against boys, was undefeated in the backstroke this season and lost only once in the 200 IM.

Carter won the 55 hurdles at regionals in an area-best time of 7.3 seconds. The junior runner was second in the 300 (37.6) and ran on the winning 800 relay team (1:35.5).

Nicholson, a senior guard for the No. 2 Bears, produced 49 points, 21 rebounds, 12 assists and 13 steals in victories over county rivals Mount Hebron (60-50) and Oakland Mills (64-43).
