ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A woman was robbed of her pocketbook and a gold ring by a man in his mid-20s who threatened her with a butcher knife outside a video store in the 6400 block of Reisterstown Road about 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
BURGLARY:: Northwestern District -- A video recorder and a bag of personal items were reported taken from a house in the 3400 block of Park Heights Ave. by someone who broke in through a rear door. The burglary was discovered Sunday morning.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone forced open the front door at Larry & Son Concrete in the 2900 block of W. Belvedere Ave. and stole tools and office equipment worth $1,400 either Saturday night or Sunday morning.
SHOOTING:: Western District -- A 20-year-old man was shot in the right leg about 3 p.m. Sunday after an argument erupted on a basketball court in the 1500 block of N. Smallwood St.
STOLEN AUTO: Northern District -- A red 1991 Chevy Blazer with Maryland license plates 65268HC was discovered stolen from the 4200 block of Clydesdale Ave. around 7:45 a.m. Sunday.
BURGLARY:: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a residence through a patio door in the 7000 block of McClean Boulevard and took a color TV, VCR and stereo between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday.
Baltimore County
BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Someone broke into an apartment in the 100 block of Lambourne Road on Friday or Saturday and stole a VCR, shoes and a shower curtain. The items were valued at $163.
STOLEN AUTO: Catonsville Precinct -- A 1995 Saturn was stolen from the 3100 block of Bero Road between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m. Saturday.
ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN: Catonsville Precinct -- A resident of the 800 block of Hilltop Place reported that she and her son were awakened at 2:30 a.m. Saturday by a loud banging on their front door. A screen door was dented and a lock damaged in the apparent break-in attempt.
BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- Employees at the K-Mart in the 7900 block of Belair Road reported at 11 p.m. Saturday that someone had cut a lock on a trailer behind the store. It was not immediately known what, if anything, was taken.
