Stoffey, Loyola top Iona, 64-63 STATE WOMEN

Patty Stoffey scored 20 points as Loyola (14-7, 5-5) overcame a four-point halftime deficit to defeat Iona, 64-63, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women's game last night at Reitz Arena.

Suzanne Radday led Iona (4-18, 1-9) with a career-high 33 points.

* UNC-Greensboro 55, UMBC 50: Julie Moore had 20 points and 13 rebounds to help UNC-Greensboro (14-8, 9-1) end UMBC's 14-game Big South Conference home winning streak.

UMBC (11-10, 7-5) has lost three straight.

* Navy 71, UDC 69, OT: Adi Schneck connected on two foul shots with 1:13 left in overtime as host Navy (13-11) defeated the District of Columbia (17-5).

Schneck scored a game-high 20 points and added five rebounds to help beat the Firebirds, who had won nine in a row.
