Mount women win 10th straight, over Wagner, 77-61

Susie Rowlyk scored 21 points and had seven assists in leading host Mount St. Mary's (16-5, 13-1) to a 77-61 victory over Wagner (9-12, 6-7) last night to extend its winning streak to 10 games and move into first place in the Northeast Conference.

* Bowie State 74, UMES 66: Kelly Evans (Western) scored 17 points and Brandey Lemons and Kimberly McCall each added 16, leading Bowie State (18-7) past UMES (4-19) in a nonconference game.

* Washington 55, Swarthmore 41: Eboni Taylor scored 23 points and added 19 rebounds, leading host Washington College past Swarthmore.

* Marymount 97, Goucher 69: Jessica Turgon scored 23 points and had 13 rebounds and four blocks, leading host Marymount (18-4, 12-1) past Goucher (15-8, 10-3) in a Capital Athletic Conference game.

Didi Cotton (Western) led Goucher with 17 points.

Men

* York 76, Salisbury State 73: Daniel Johnson scored 18 to lead host York (17-5, 12-1) over Salisbury State in a Capital Athletic Conference game.

Kyle Jefferson (Hammond) led the Sea Gulls (11-12, 6-7) with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

* St. Mary's 89, Villa Julie 65: Lewis Van Wambeke scored 24, leading St. Mary's past visiting Villa Julie. Shuron Woodyard scored 16 points for Villa Julie, and Donte Dudley (Woodlawn) had 14.
