BALTIMORE CITY

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- A 35-year-old resident of the 3800 block of Potee St. was in the 4200 block of Audrey Ave. Tuesday night when he was attacked by two men, one with a baseball bat. He was struck with the bat and robbed of a backpack that contained $40 worth of food.

* STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1991 Toyota with tags AMM 384 was stolen Tuesday from Mondawmin Mall.

* THEFT: Western District -- A meter to detect natural gas, an underground pipe locater and other equipment, all valued at $2,000, were stolen from a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. truck that was parked in the 2700 block of Franklin St. Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 4900 block of Gunther Ave. Tuesday by knocking a hole in the wall of the adjoining laundry room and stole two cameras, a telephone, 100 syringes, a rope chain and five rings, all valued at nearly $2,800.

* STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A blue 1988 Chevrolet truck with tags 635371M was stolen from the 5100 block of Darien Road Tuesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A blue 1992 Subaru Legacy with tags BVR 479 was stolen Tuesday from the 1500 block of Tunlaw Road.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* STOLEN CAR: Parkville Precinct -- Shortly after a man stole a 1988 Jeep from the 8400 block of Harris Ave. and abandoned it after striking three parked cars nearby, he stole a Ford Probe, which remained missing.

* BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- Jewelry and appliances, all valued at more than $400, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 8800 block of Sigrid Road.
