BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 2600 block of Maryland Ave. through a rear door Monday and stole more than $800.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Several two-way radios, valued at nearly $3,000, were stolen Monday from the Baltimore Street Car Museum by someone who entered the building after reportedly breaking a window.

THEFTS: Northern District -- Two cars were parked in the 5300 block of Greenspring Ave. Monday when someone reportedly stole their batteries.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a 1989 Buick with tags SNR 899 that was stolen Monday from the 4700 block of Wakefield Road.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Western District -- Credit cards and other items were stolen from a car parked in the 2600 block of W. North Ave. Monday by someone who forced open a side door.

STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1992 Honda Accord with tags ALK 975 was stolen Sunday from the 5000 block of Westhill Road.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of Windsor Ave. Monday and stole a telephone, answering machine, jewelry and cassette tapes, all valued at nearly $1,200.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- A man who said he was dying of AIDS and displayed the butt of a handgun robbed the High's dairy store in the 6800 block of Broening Highway of an undisclosed sum of money Monday.

ASSAULT: North Point Precinct -- A driver for Mr. Softee ice cream was at Inverton and Jasmine roads Monday night when someone threw an object that struck the side of his van. When the driver got out to see what was thrown, one of two men fired at least six shots from a handgun. The shots flew over the driver's head. As the driver retreated to his van, the gunman fired several more shots before he and his accomplice fled. The driver was not injured.
