Members of the Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights will gather for their monthly meeting at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the clubhouse on Hammonds Ferry Road.
Constance Pergerson, a registered dietitian whose specialty is nutrition education, will present a program on "Enviro Shopping" -- how to shop with an eye toward the the environment and the pocketbook.
She will stress the five R's: Reuse, Recycle, Reduce, Reject and Respond.
Pergerson is an area agent and home economist and nutritionist for the county Cooperative Extension Service.
After her presentation, Bobbi Metzger from a make-over photography studio at Marley Station will conduct a makeup demonstration.
The monthly luncheon will be served by the Community Health and Volunteer Services Committee.
* Tickets for the club's annual prayer breakfast March 15 can be purchased at the meeting for $5. The speaker will be the Rev. Joseph Breighner, a weekly newspaper columnist and radio program host. His latest book, "Father Joe: A Year of Wit, Wisdom and Warmth," will be for sale.

The District 32 Democratic Club will meet Thursday at the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department.
A dinner of stuffed chicken breast will be served at 7 p.m. for $4. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. with the swearing in of officers and directors for 1995.
The officers are: Evelyn Kellner, president; Valerie Serio, vice president; Becky Baker, secretary; Joan Dankewicz, treasurer; and Mel Baker, sergeant-at-arms.
The directors are: Lucy Decker, immediate past president, and Joseph Corcoran, Thomas Dixon, Christine Kuczinski, Frank Rezac, Alice Sulin, Victor Sulin and Vickie Wright.
Del. Mary Ann Love, who will lead the ceremony, also will give an update on the 1995 Maryland General Assembly session.

The security patrol sponsored by the Linthicum-Shipley Improvement Association will have its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cavalier Co. (behind Petal Pusher on Camp Meade Road).
Volunteers are asked to give two hours a month to help make Linthicum a safer place to live. A sign-up sheet will be posted for the next several months of patrols.
New members are welcome.

The monthly meeting of the Methodist Women of Ferndale United Methodist Church will take place at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the lower level of the church.
The women of the church and community are invited to hear Brenda Pendargrass, executive director of Hearth House, speak about the transitional shelter for homeless women.
Hearth House in Landsdowne provides the women with a shelter and services for six months so that they can get back on their feet.

The Episcopal Women's Group of the Church of St. Christopher's is sponsoring a free presentation about heart disease at 7 p.m. Feb. 21, in the church rectory.
The speaker will be Debbie Lund, exercise physiologist at North Arundel Hospital. The program will outline prevention and treatment measures.

"Raising Children for the 21st Century" is the theme for a six-week workshop that begins Saturday at the Church of Christ, 2 Eastern St. in Ferndale.
