Feb. 15: At the various crossings of Baltimore Street during yesterday afternoon there was congregated a large number of unruly boys, who amused themselves by throwing snowballs into all the sleighs that happened to pass. Even ladies, in some instances, were not exempt.

Feb. 18: We are told that within the past year, six ladies of Gallows Hill have presented their lords with twins. This is doing pretty well for one little section of the city.

Feb. 13: James Connolly, of 1501 Eastern Avenue, entered the eastern district police station yesterday in great alarm. He informed Lieutenant Jones that on Monday night he had swallowed his glass-eye.

Feb. 14: The Johns Hopkins University Class of '95 yesterday voted to wear Oxford mortar boards in and about the university during their daily classes. The caps will be black, with a tassle of the Hopkins colors -- blue and black.

Feb. 12: Valentines this year range from satin hearts and flowers to a cardboard heart as a receipt for a pint of blood donated to the Red Cross Donation project.

Feb. 13: Salisbury, Md. -- Two women lost their lives and six other persons were injured in a fire which early today swept through the Majestic Hotel, a sixteen-room, second-floor hostelry East Main Street.
