Producer Peter Guber's company has entered into a deal to finance the production and distribution of the latest feature film version of "Flash Gordon."
The newest incarnation of "Flash Gordon," the all-American character originally brought to life by Buster Crabbe in the 1930s, will continue the hero's fight against the evil Emperor Ming on the planet Mongo but will have an "edgier," updated look for the 1990s.
