NBC's the place tonight, thanks mostly to original episodes of "Mad About You" and "Seinfeld."
* "Mad About You" (8 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Channel 11) -- The alumni of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" are making the TV rounds these says. Gates McFadden snapped up a co-starring role on the new UPN series "Marker," Jonathan Frakes appeared earlier this week on "Cybill" (complete with a closing-credits "beam-up"), and tonight, Brent Spiner, free from his Data whiteface makeup, guests on "Mad About You" as a show-biz agent who takes on the Buckman's pooch as a client. Also guest starring, in a cameo role, is Jay Leno. NBC.
* "Seinfeld" (9 p.m.-9:30 p.m., Channel 11) -- On "The Nanny" this week, Fran Drescher built a lot of laughs out of a date with a guy she presumed was gay. On tonight's "Seinfeld," Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) makes a similar assumption. NBC.
* "The Commish" (9 p.m.-10 p.m., Channel 2) -- The first prime-time series to run with the basic plot of "Disclosure," tonight's episode of "The Commish" has Tony (Michael Chiklis) being accused of sexual harassment by a colleague -- in this case, a computer technician played by guest star Tracy Scoggins, no longer of "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." ABC.
* "Wings" (9:30 p.m.-10 p.m., Channel 11) -- Part 1 of 2. Once again, this sitcom finds itself perched, if temporarily, in the plum time slot following "Seinfeld." NBC.
* "E.R." (10 p.m.-11 p.m., Channel 11) -- Tonight, one of the emergency-room regulars accidentally takes the acid test -- by popping some candy laced with LSD. NBC.
Cable
* "Clambake" (8 p.m.-10:15 p.m., TNT) -- Elvis Presley as J. R. Ewing? Hard to imagine -- but in this 1967 musical, Presley plays the heir to an oil fortune. Shelley Fabares is the leading lady.
* "Moontrap" (10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., TBS) -- I've seen this 1989 sci-fi film, which stars Walter Koenig of "Star Trek." "Moontrap" is a bad name for it. It's closer to "Claptrap."
