Three are hired at engineering firm
Development Facilitators Inc. of Severna Park, a county civil consulting engineering firm, has hired Hemant D. Vyas, Peter Gesellchen and Robert Kronenberg.
Mr. Vyas is a registered civil professional engineer in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and Washington, D.C., with over 20 years of civil site and highway design experience. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering.
Mr. Gesellchen holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from North Dakota State University with 17 years of experience in design/coordination of residential land development projects throughout Virginia and Maryland.
Mr. Kronenberg has a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Louisiana State University. His experience includes design and drafting of landscape plans for residential and commercial projects.
McManus named NAHI vice president
Nancy McManus has been named vice-president of New American Health Inc., a venture between North Arundel Hospital, its medical staff and several health maintenance organizations.
Ms. McManus was previously an administrator with the Upper Chesapeake Medical System. She has a nursing degree from St. Clare's Hospital School of Nursing and a bachelor of science degree from St. Joseph's College.
A resident of Bel Air, she is a member of the Executive Women's Club and serves on the advisory board for nursing at Baltimore Community College.
Leo Wilson appointed associate at Hammond
Hammond Associates Architects, an Annapolis-based architectural firm, has appointed Leo Wilson an associate.
Mr. Wilson holds a bachelor of science degree in architecture from the Catholic University of America and a master's degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Fine Arts.
Adams names Rankin vice president
Mary D. Rankin has been named vice president and director of marketing for Adams Communications Inc. in Annapolis effective Feb. 15.
She was general sales manager at WGAY-FM in Washington for two years and has been active in area broadcasting for over two decades.
