2nd man held in slaying outside school

The second of two suspects in the Jan. 23 fatal shooting outside Baltimore's Northern High School was arrested last night, police said.

Maurice "The Juice" Dickens, 21, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force at the Owings Mills Town Center in Baltimore County, police said.

Mr. Dickens of the 5700 block of Maple Hill Road was charged with first-degree murder and a handgun violation.

Police arrested Ryan Cain, 19, of the 2200 block of Pinewood Ave. several days after the shooting and charged him with first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Both suspects were in custody today.

In the incident, Elijah J. Young, 22, of the 400 block of E. Cold Spring Lane was shot fatally, and Gerald Ferguson, 21, of the 3600 block of Monterey Road was wounded.
