Grace profits plummet
W.R. Grace & Co. yesterday reported a drop in net earnings in the last quarter of 1994.
The company earned $103 million, or $1.10 a share, in the quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with $285 million, or $3.05 a share, in the same period a year earlier. In the last quarter of 1993, earnings included a $200 million after-tax credit related to asbestos insurance coverage.
Sales for the fourth quarter rose to $1.47 billion, from $1.2 billion.
