W. Maryland routs Gallaudet, 80-49 STATE WOMEN

Sophomore forward Sandi DeJager scored 18 points to lead Western Maryland's best offensive showing of the season in an 80-49 nonconference win over Gallaudet (2-15) last night in Westminster.

Sophomore center Heidi Snyder blocked a school-record nine shots for the Green Terror (12-5).

* Salisbury State 69, Catholic 49: Kristi Kauffman scored 21 points to lead Salisbury State (14-4, 8-1) over visiting Catholic (7-10, 2-7) in a Capital Athletic Conference game.
