Drug raid nets suspected cocaine

Police arrested two men and seized 2 kilos of suspected crack cocaine worth about $200,000 yesterday as part of drug investigation in Northwest Baltimore, authorities said.

Police raided houses in the 4100 block of Ridgewood Ave. and in the 3300 block of Oakfield Ave. about 12:30 p.m. The drugs, $3,000 and a loaded .357-caliber Magnum handgun were seized from the Oakfield Avenue house. Sgt. James Cappuccino said the suspected cocaine was being prepared for packing and distribution along Belvedere Avenue.

Donta Terry Vaughn and Lutrell T. Williams, both 18 and of the 3300 block of Oakfield Ave., were charged with drug and weapons violations.
