Marjorie Annette Rouse, a retired schoolteacher, died Jan. 24 at her daughter's home in Severna Park of cancer. She was 80.

The native of Patten, Maine, retired in 1974 from the Anne Arundel County school system, where she started working in 1950. Earlier, she taught in Maine, Massachusetts and New Jersey.

The former Marjorie Annette Bragg was a 1931 graduate of Farmington (Maine) High School, a 1933 graduate of Farmington Normal School and a 1939 graduate of Hyannis (Mass.) Teachers College. She received a master's degree in education from the University of Maryland.

Services will be held in Patten in the spring.

She is survived by a son, Joseph H. Rouse; and a daughter, Jacqueline M. Rouse, both of Severna Park; and four grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 8424 Veterans Highway, Millersville, Md. 21108.

78, a native of Chase who lived in Savage for many years, died Wednesday at a hospital in Dover, Del., after a heart attack.

A memorial service for the former Anna Elizabeth Porter, who had lived in Frederica, Del., since 1991, was planned for 1 p.m. today at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover.

Survivors include her husband, Clifton C. Croston; a daughter, Sandy Hensley of Frederica; two sons, Clifton C. Croston Jr. of Shadyside and Dale Croston of Edgewood; a sister, Ruth Hamrick of Lineboro, Pa.; two brothers, Clint and Carroll Porter, both of the Baltimore area; and nine grandchildren.

Mark Joseph Kolb, 79, a Highlandtown resident who retired 14 years ago as a route salesman for beer distributors, died Monday at Church Hospital of kidney and liver failure.

Graveside services for the Baltimore native were held Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Jett; a son, Mark J. Jett of Overlea; two sisters, Lorraine Carmody and Dorothy Greenfelder, both of Baltimore; and a grandson.
