Disney film to show in Central Park

In a co-venture with the city of New York, Walt Disney Pictures will present its coming animated feature "Pocahontas" free to 100,000 people June 10 on Central Park's Great Lawn.

Tickets for the premiere, which will be preceded by a live Disney show, will be distributed through a random mail-in program to be announced in local New York outlets in the spring.

Disney chief Michael Eisner, who grew up a few blocks from Central Park, called the event "a kind of 'family Woodstock.' "
