* CARJACKING: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a gunman who robbed a man of his money while the victim was talking on a telephone in the 1600 block of Bloomingdale Road Sunday night, then stole the victim's 1984 Dodge van with tags 51A996.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Five gray cement dogs were stolen from the front porch of a house in the 1000 block of W. 38th St. Sunday.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 300 block of Cable St. was in the 700 block of W. 40th St. Sunday when a man stole her purse containing $45.

* SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 17-year-old resident of the 300 block of W. 28th St. was trying to aid a robbery victim in the 2800 block of Fox St. Saturday night when he was shot by one of the suspects. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed Philadelphia Style Pizza in the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road of $70 Sunday night.


* ROBBERY: Essex Precinct -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed an employee of Cap & Cork liquors in the 2800 block of Eastern Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Sunday night as the employee walked toward his car. The employee suffered a minor head injury during the robbery and was treated at a hospital.
