Man threatens clerk, robs Ritchie Highway 7-Eleven

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A man threatened a clerk's life yesterday while robbing a 7-Eleven store of an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The man walked into the store in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway about 2 a.m. and made a purchase.

As the clerk rang up the charge, the man said, "If you value your life, you'll give me the money in the register," police said.

The man then took the cash and ran toward Church Street. He showed no weapon, police said. Described as a clean-shaven black male in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds, the man was wearing a blue T-shirt, a brown satin or silk jacket with black stains and a black baseball cap, police said.
