Three men snatched more than $100 from the cash register at a Severna Park sandwich shop Sunday evening, county police said.
The men entered the Subway shop in the 500 block of Ritchie Highway about 6:45 p.m. and ordered a soft drink and a sandwich. While the clerk had the register open, one of the men leaned over the counter and grabbed a fistful of cash, police said.
The men escaped out the back door and headed south on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard.
The suspects were described as black males 17 to 25 years old with medium builds. One was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing a navy blue jacket and a navy blue knit cap; the second as 6 feet 1 inch tall, with freckles and wearing a red knit cap; and the third as 6 feet 1 inch tall and wearing a purple knit cap and a gray fleece Champion sweat shirt, police said.
