Redistricting to be discussed
Issues concerning proposed school redistricting for students in the Corkran Middle School community will be discussed at 7 p.m. Monday in the school's auditorium.
Principal Phyllis Cherry and members of the PTA and CAC will be on hand to answer any questions. Corkran representatives will then express the majority's concerns and opinions at the public hearing scheduled for later this month.
A proposal to ease crowding at Marley Middle School recommends that students from Glendale Elementary attend Corkran instead of Marley Middle. To avoid crowding at Corkran, students from Quarterfield Elementary would be promoted to Old Mill Middle South.
