* Winfield: Engines from Winfield and Sykesville responded to a chimney fire in the 7500 block of Smith Private Road at 7:24 p.m. Monday. Units were out for an hour and 21 minutes.

Engines from Winfield, Sykesville and Gamber responded to a chimney fire in the 4500 block of Cherry Tree Lane at 4:50 p.m. Sunday. Units were out for 48 minutes.

* Mount Airy: Mount Airy was dispatched to a call of trees on wires on South Main Street at Old National Pike in Frederick County at 8 a.m. Monday. Firefighters remained at the scene for almost four hours waiting for emergency crews to arrive and clear the wires.

* Woodbine: Mount Airy responded to a chimney fire in the 1900 block of Gillis Falls Road at 10:22 a.m. Saturday. They were out for 30 minutes.
