A man held a knife to the throat of a North Laurel gas station clerk until she gave him money late Friday, Howard County police said.
The victim was not injured.
According to police, the man was dropped off at the Crown gas station in the 9200 block of All Saints Road from a small gray car about 10:25 p.m. After lingering at the gas station for 10 minutes, the man grabbed the clerk, threatened her with the knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber was described as a black male in his mid-20s, weighing 175 pounds and wearing a black sweat suit and a black knit cap, police said.
