Golden State Warriors -- Announced that G Latrell Sprewell will be fined for being 10 minutes late for yesterday's practice.

Minnesota Timberwolves -- Suspended G Isaiah Rider (20.1 ppg) without pay for one game for missing a mandatory shoot-around yesterday morning.

San Antonio Spurs -- Signed G Doc Rivers. Waived G Corey Crowder.

Tennessee -- Extended the contract of football coach Phillip Fulmer through the 1999 season.

Atlanta Falcons -- Signed Clay Matthews,38, who has played in more games (247) than any other linebacker in NFL history, to a one-year contract. He is a five-time Pro Bowl selection.

Cincinnati Bengals -- Fired special teams coach Marv Braden. Defensive line coach Joe Wessel will take Braden's job. The Bengals are expected to announce today that Tim Krumrie, who retired as a defensive lineman after Saturday's game, is the next defensive line coach.

Philadelphia Eagles -- Fired coach Rich Kotite, defensive coordinator Bud Carson, offensive coordinator Zeke Bratkowski, receivers coach Lew Carpenter, secondary coach Peter Giunta, special teams assistant Bobby Hammond, defensive line coach Dale Haupt, offensive line coach Bill Muir, linebackers coach Jim Vechiarella, strength coach Jim Williams, special teams coordinator Larry Pasquale and running backs coach Richard Wood.
