Patapsco Middle School music directors Dan LeJeune, Robert Chamberlin and Kathy Cammarata have announced that eight Patapsco students have been named to 1995 Maryland All-State ensembles.
The groups will rehearse from March 2 to March 4 and will present an afternoon concert March 4 at the Ocean City Convention Center.
The festival is in conjunction with the Maryland Music Educators Association annual conference.
The students in the 1995 Maryland All-State Junior Chorus are Ann Metz, alto; John Bruns and Larry Sama, tenor; and Shawn Doyle, bass. The students in the 1995 Maryland All-State Junior Band are Melainie Hoffner, first chair oboe, and Stephanie Moller, third chair french horn.
The 1995 Maryland All-State Junior Orchestra will include Anne Lam, violin and Paul Smith, viola.
