Pauline Prevas

Pauline Prevas, a homemaker who catered parties for friends and relatives, died Friday of cancer at her home in Hamilton. She was 65.
Mrs. Prevas loved to cook and worked part time for the past five years catering weddings, birthday parties and receptions.
She also loved music and was a former member of the choirs at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation and St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
For the past nine years, she sang in the choir at Trinity Assembly of God.
She was born Pauline Panagakos and attended Eastern High School, where she studied music.
After graduation, she attended Peabody Preparatory and later earned a scholarship to Peabody Conservatory, studying voice and violin.
In 1949, she and Peter Nicholas Prevas were married.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and interior decorating.
Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Ruck Towson funeral home, 1050 York Road.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Nicholas Prevas of Glen Burnie, George Prevas of Rodgers Forge and Christopher Prevas of Randallstown; a daughter, Maria Prevas Angelos of Baldwin; her mother, Mary Panagakos of Towson; a sister, Katherine Panagakos of Towson; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
