Pair abduct Glen Burnie man briefly, steal Christmas gifts

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A man was robbed of Christmas presents Friday night outside a Glen Burnie Wal-Mart store, then forced into a car at gunpoint and driven around northern Anne Arundel County for 90 minutes before he was released unharmed, police said.

Lorenzo Quintin Ingram, 33, of Glen Burnie told police that he was approached by two men as he left the store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway about 8:30 p.m.

He said one of the men threatened him with a small caliber revolver and forced him into a 1980 or 1981 dark blue Chevrolet Impala.

The men stole $60 and presents and repeatedly questioned Mr. Ingram about his automated bank machine card as they drove around the Dorsey area, police reported.

About 10 p.m., the men released Mr. Ingram along Baltimore-Washington Parkway near the city line.
