ABDUCTION/SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who abducted a man and then shot him when he tried to escape when the car slowed down at North Avenue and Ellamont Street early today. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital. Following the shooting, the man's abductors drove to an apartment building in the 4300 block of Bedrock Circle in Baltimore County, where they were spotted by police. Believing the men ran into an apartment, police surrounded the building but a search revealed that the men escaped. The abduction and shooting were believed to be drug related.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1300 block of Limit Ave. Thursday and stole Christmas gifts and a .30 caliber rifle, all valued at $740.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Arunah Ave. was listed in serious condition at the University of Maryland Medical Center after he was shot twice in the 500 block of Pulaski St. by a man armed with a .380 semi-automatic handgun.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- A resident of the 1900 block of W. Lafayette Ave. was arrested Thursday when he attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store in the 1400 block of N. Monroe St. without paying for items valued at nearly $13.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed a Waverly resident of $80 in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. Thursday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Hilton Ave. was walking near her home Thursday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $105.

CARJACKING:CARJACKING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Kingswood Square was robbed of his 1989 Toyota van with tags 586658M Wednesday by two men who forced him from the vehicle in the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from Choi's Seafood in the 5500 block of Reisterstown Road Thursday by someone who entered after breaking a window.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a woman who stole nearly $600 worth of property from a house in the 5000 block of Pembridge Ave. Thursday.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 5300 block of E. Glenarm Road Thursday through a door and stole jewelry, firearms, clothing and cash, all valued at more than $6,000.

ARSON: Parkville Precinct -- Someone set fire to an air conditioner in the hallway of an apartment building in the 7700 block of Harford Road early Thursday morning, causing several residents to flee. Police said a rag was stuffed inside the appliance and then set afire. Burning insulation in the air conditioner sent smoke through the building. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A gunman robbed the Crown station in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Thursday evening of an undisclosed sum of money, cigarettes and other property.
