* Westminster: A resident of Webster Street reported someone shattered the driver's window of his vehicle while it was parked at his house on Tuesday. He estimated the damage at $250.
A resident of West Main Street told police someone stole Christmas lights from her house on Friday. She estimated the value of the lights at $6.
A resident of Liberty Street reported to state police someone broke a window of her auto and stole a Pioneer stereo system, including a compact disc player with amplifier and two speakers.
Also taken were 20 compact discs. She estimated the value of the stolen items and property destruction at $1,340.

* Westminster: Westminster investigated smoke coming from the roof of Random House on Bennett Cerf Drive at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 15 minutes.
Westminster investigated a fire alarm sounding on Long Valley Road at 9:29 a.m. Dec. 15. Units were out for 50 minutes.
Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester were dispatched to investigate the odor of gas in a building in the 500 block of Baltimore Boulevard at 7:27 p.m. Tuesday.
Units were out for 45 minutes.
