Jay S. Van Deusen, president of Van Deusen Construction Co. in Darlington, has been named to the board of directors of the Home Builders Association of Maryland.
Mr. Van Deusen also is vice president of the Home Builders Association's Remodelors Council.
He recently completed the Certified Graduate Remodeler program sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders Remodelors Council, a program designed to improve a remodeler's background in sales, production, management and quality control.
Van Deusen Construction Co., a residential and commercial remodeling company, operates in Harford and Baltimore counties and Baltimore City.
