The Harford County Democratic Central Committee is accepting applications from qualified male candidates to serve as at-large members.
To be eligible for consideration for five vacancies, candidates must be registered Democrats and Harford County residents.
Male candidates are needed to meet gender balance requirements set by the National Democratic Party. Currently, the Harford County Democratic Central Committee is made up of six women and one man.
The primary responsibilities of at-large members are attending state and local meetings and voting at the state level.
To be considered, applicants must submit a cover letter and resume listing educational background, work experience, community involvement and service to the Democratic Party. The information should be sent to Anne M. Hughes, P.O. Box 337, Fallston, Md. 21047. The application deadline is Jan. 9.
