An investigation that evolved from a Dec. 8 drug raid in Bel Air led to the arrest of two Aberdeen women on charges of possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to distribute marijuana last week, police said.

Members of the Harford County Joint Narcotics Task Force and sheriff's deputies arrested Antoinette Regina Mauro, 24, of the 200 block of Schemel St., and Nancy Anne Eller, 19, of the first block of E. Bel Air Ave., about 9 p.m. Tuesday at a Route 22 restaurant in Churchville, a task force spokesman said.

Task force officials said they seized $1,000 and 5 ounces of marijuana with an estimated value of $750 from the women.

Ms. Mauro was held on $5,000 bond at the Harford County Detention Center, and Ms. Eller was held on $10,000 bond, a spokesman said.

In the Dec. 8 raid, task force officers entered a residence in the 500 block of Pritt Lane in Bel Air and arrested Elmer Eugene Leonard, 29, and Tracey Ruth Leonard, 30, both of that address, on charges of possession with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana. They were released on their own recognizance by a District Court commissioner.

Drug paraphernalia and an ounce of marijuana, with an estimated value of $200, were seized in the Dec. 8 raid, the spokesman said.
